North England

SOLACE in the North is one of nine branches covering the English regions of the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and Senior Managers (UK). Branch members are drawn from a variety of backgrounds, and while engaging with all major players in English governance at both local and national level, the branch has a unique role to play in offering a corporate view of local government in the Northern region.
