Solace letter to the new Prime Minister – 0

Today Solace has sent a letter to the new Prime Minister, Rt Hon Theresa May MP, offering support in transforming public services.

The letter sets out a clear and positive offer from the management of local government to the new Government. It outlines key areas where greater transformation is required and where we want to work with the new Government to ensure the state is more effective and remains relevant to local people right across the UK. Both the Government and the local government sector share challenging and ambitious objectives. The recent referendum result means it is important that all parts of Government collaborate in order to build sustainable and cohesive communities that reflect the aspirations of local people. We put the managerial leadership of local government forward as an important part of this solution, not a barrier to change.
