The SOLACE Foundation Imprint (SFI) is the publishing arm of SOLACE, the professional body of UK local authority chief executives and corporate managers. Lord Michael Bichard is the Editor-in-Chief and Dr Clive Grace chairs the Editorial Board.

SFI's circulation is currently 18,000, including all the UK's local authority chief executives, many national and local politicians, senior civil servants, think tanks, policy makers and others in business and the voluntary sector.

Since its first publication in October 2005, SFI has published a wide range of pamphlets in partnership with the Guardian newspapers. SFI works with a range of public and private organisations who sponsor individual pamphlets. Previous partners include the IDeA, the Leadership Centre, the Audit Commission, the Design Council, Capita, Amey and Steria.

The pamphlets are targeted at senior strategic managers and each contains a range of views and perspectives from decision makers, practitioners and others who influence policy.
