We ensure the expertise, experience and ideas of professional managers in local government influence and improve public policy delivery. In recent weeks we have ministers from a range of different departments as wells as permanent secretaries and senior officials from across government and government agencies.  Particular issues are the standing up to the downturn, safeguarding children, the development of CAA and behaviour change.

Through the SOLACE Foundation Imprint (SFI) we influence high level debates with high level thinking. Members can stay involved and have a voice through the SOLACE Members Panel, Electoral Matters Panel, Human Trafficking Panel, International Working Group, SOLACE Focus, and other task and finish groups.
