Resilience Resources

Resilience in times of crisis

“Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it’s less good than the one you had before. You can fight it, you can do nothing but scream about what you’ve lost, or you can accept that and try to put together something that’s good.” ― Elizabeth Edwards

Exploring, developing, and building resilience is vital for any professional in any industry. And whether it’s personal, financial, or economic, resilience is something all great leaders have in common.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve pulled together a series of resources which we hope will help you to become more resilient both as an individual and in the workplace.

Resilience 101

Our Resilience in Leadership facilitator, Claire Chidley has reflected on her top 10 tips for staying resilient in challenging times. We hope this will provide some insight into how you stay in a positive mindset and working environment through the coming period.

You can watch the first installment in our mini-series on resilience below. To view the full series, and see all our video content, subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Resilience in Leadership - Virtual Workshop

This workshop has been designed to provide leaders with the skills required to develop personal resilience without which they may struggle to be effective in their roles. As leaders, they are seen as role models by others and they need to demonstrate resilience (now more so than ever) to deal with the vast range of challenges currently facing the Public sector (major change, uncertainty, budgetary constraints, increasing demands, and expectations).

Resilient leaders can also develop resilient staff and create an environment of well being for all. This workshop will provide all delegates with an opportunity to address real issues using a combination of facilitator input and feedback, individual and group exercises, questionnaires, tools, and techniques.

If you would like to find out more about this course and options to deliver this inhouse virtually, please contact events@solace.org.uk.

“Claire Chidley has worked with us on multiple occasions and we felt there was no other coach who would have complemented our internal offering more. Claire’s extensive Resilience and Change management experience is gold standard. This gives us the security of knowing our employees are in safe hands and receiving the highest quality of support, complementing our ‘Let’s get talking’ wellness campaign and extending our employee offering across all levels.

There are no limits to the amount of support our employees can draw on. Working with like-minded professionals such as Claire only makes it easier to offer and deliver the right assistance and development.

We’re all here to help and we’re listening.”
